Kariandusi Cycle Challenge 2006 - Second departure

On the second departure trip we had the full group of 10 riders including Dragoman's very own Kathy Churchill. Kathy is the sales manager for Dragoman and we would like to say a really big thank you to her for organising both the bike rides this year. She has spent many hours and a great deal of her and Dragoman's time sorting out itineraries, crew, bikes, flights and accommodation, not to mention all the time spent on communications.

Also another thank you to Annie Owen, for her constant support and for agreeing once again to take part in the Cycle Challenge. Fund raising for one bike ride is an ordeal, but to do it two years running is beyond the call of duty. Annie, thank you for everything.

Now for the riders. The core of the group was made up of the 'Babes on Bikes', Kathy Churchill, Shauna Craig, Marian Hutson, Mary Graham and Karren Piper. Joining the babes, was Suffolk's answer to Pierce Brosnan, James Brooks, our very own trustee Annie Owen, Finn Curry (well done Finn, another 2nd time rider) and Pipa Thomson from London. Finally a late entry, Buzz Patrick (not to be confused with Buzz Lightyear), who was persuaded that it was safe to leave her husband 'home alone' in charge of the children and to take up the challenge
